Effective Date: June 10, 2026
1. Introduction and Scope of Terms
The website Travelecious.com (the "Website") is operated by Joyfares ("Company," "we,"
"us," or "our"). This Website exists solely to assist customers worldwide in researching travel
information, checking the availability of travel-related goods and services, making legitimate

right to request supporting documentation (such as a government-issued ID or cardholder
authorisation) for any reservation that requires further verification.
-
Cancellation Rights: If the requested documentation is not provided within the specified
timeframe, the reservation may be cancelled at our sole discretion.

regularly to stay informed of any revisions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this Website, or any part of it, at our
sole discretion and without prior notice. Travelecious shall not be held liable if the Website or

reasonable judgement, you have violated any provision of these Terms.

may violate applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.
10. Prohibited Uses

Travelecious reserves the right to terminate your access, without notice, if we determine at our
sole discretion that you are misusing the platform or attempting to circumvent our operational

11. User Contributions
The Website may include interactive features such as review sections, forums, or messaging
functions (collectively, "Interactive Services") that allow users to submit or post content
(collectively, "User Contributions"). All User Contributions must comply with the Content
Standards outlined in these Terms.
Ownership and Rights: User Contributions posted to the Website are considered non-
confidential and non-proprietary. By submitting content, you grant Travelecious and its
affiliates the right to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and disclose that content to
third parties for any purpose.
User Responsibility: You represent and warrant that:
-
You own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Contributions and to grant the
licence described above.
- All User Contributions comply with these Terms of Use.
-
You, not Travelecious, are solely responsible for the content you post, including its

12. Monitoring, Enforcement, and Termination
We reserve the right to:

If you believe any content on the Website infringes your copyright, please send a notice to
info@travelecious.com. Travelecious's policy is to terminate the accounts of users found to be
repeat infringers.
15. Reliance on Information Posted
Content on this Website is provided for general information purposes only. Travelecious does
not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information published on the
Website. Any reliance you place on such information is at your own risk, and we disclaim all
liability arising from such reliance.
Content provided by third parties — including user reviews, blog posts, and supplier
descriptions — reflects the views of those parties only and not those of Travelecious.
16. Changes to the Website
We may update Website content from time to time. However, we make no guarantee that the
content is complete or current, and we are under no obligation to update any particular
material.
17. Information About You and Your Visits
All information collected through this Website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the Website, you consent to such use of your information.
18. Booking on Behalf of Third Parties
If you make a booking on behalf of another person — whether a family member, colleague, or
friend — you are responsible for ensuring that all information provided, including billing details,
matches the records held by the relevant financial institution.
-
Duty to Inform: You must ensure the third party is made aware of all applicable terms,
rules, and restrictions, including these Terms of Use.
-
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Travelecious and its partners
harmless against any losses, claims, or liabilities arising from your failure, or the third
party's failure, to meet these obligations.
-
Financial Responsibility: You remain fully responsible for all charges associated with the
booking. Travelecious is not obligated to issue refunds for errors made during the
booking process.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
Travelecious cannot guarantee that files available for download through the Website are free
from viruses or harmful code. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate virus protection
and data recovery procedures.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR
DAMAGE RESULTING FROM DENIAL-OF-SERVICE ATTACKS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL
MATERIAL THAT MAY AFFECT YOUR SYSTEMS THROUGH USE OF THIS WEBSITE.
YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE AND ANY SERVICES OR CONTENT OBTAINED THROUGH IT IS
ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
20. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVELECIOUS, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS,
SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS (COLLECTIVELY,
"COVERED PARTIES") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM YOUR
USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE OR ANY LINKED SITES.
This limitation applies to:
- Loss of revenue, business interruption, or loss of data.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or technical issues in Website content or functionality.
-
Acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party travel suppliers, who operate as
independent contractors and not as agents of Travelecious.
- Personal injury, property damage, or other losses arising from travel bookings.
-
Events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, industrial action, adverse
weather, or government intervention.
21. Indemnification and Chargeback Protection
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travelecious and its Covered Parties from
any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees)
arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Website.
You specifically agree to indemnify Travelecious for any airline debit memos or credit card
chargebacks resulting from:
- Disputes regarding services provided by an airline, hotel, or car rental provider.
-
Unauthorised charges made by individuals with access to your account or payment
method.
- Failure to comply with the specific rules and conditions of the relevant travel supplier.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the
Province of Alberta without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the federal
or provincial courts located in Calgary, Alberta, and you waive any objection to jurisdiction or
venue in those courts.
23. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Travelecious is committed to resolving customer concerns fairly and efficiently. If you have a
dispute regarding a booking, our services, or this Website, please contact us first at
info@travelecious.com, so we can resolve the matter informally.
-
Negotiation Period: We will endeavour to resolve your concern within sixty (60) days of
receiving written notice.
-
Further Action: If the matter remains unresolved after that period, you may pursue it
through binding arbitration or small claims court under the jurisdiction described in
these Terms.
24. Supplemental Booking Terms
The following booking terms supplement these Terms of Use and apply specifically to travel
reservations made through Travelecious, including flights, hotels, and car rentals. All other
provisions of the main Terms of Use remain fully in effect.
25. Compliance with Travel Provider Rules
By booking through Travelecious, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the
relevant travel supplier, including payment obligations and rules governing fare usage and
availability.
-
Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with supplier rules may result in
reservation cancellation, denial of service, forfeiture of amounts paid, and recovery of
any costs incurred by Travelecious as a result.
-
Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all charges, taxes, duties, and
fees arising from your use of this Website.
26. Limitation of Responsibility for Suppliers
Travelecious acts as an intermediary only and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or
financial insolvency of travel providers. In the event a supplier fails to deliver a booked service,
your recourse lies solely with that supplier, and Travelecious bears no financial liability in such
circumstances.
27. Accessibility Requirements
Travelecious does not hold specific information regarding the suitability of travel products for
individuals with disabilities. For accessibility-related queries, please contact the relevant travel
provider directly prior to booking.
28. International Travel and Documentation
It is your sole responsibility to ensure you hold all necessary travel documents — including a
valid passport, applicable visas, and any required health certifications — for your intended
journey.
-
Travel Advisories: We strongly recommend consulting official government travel
advisories before booking international travel.
-
Documentation Failure: Travelecious accepts no liability for denied boarding, entry
refusals, or trip disruptions caused by incomplete or invalid documentation.
29. Currency and Exchange Rates
Prices displayed on Travelecious are shown in the currency selected at the time of booking. For
U.S.-based users, transactions are processed explicitly in U.S. Dollars (USD).
-
Fluctuations: While we aim for pricing accuracy, final charges may vary slightly due to
exchange rate movements or bank processing timelines.
-
Bank Fees: Where your card currency differs from the transaction currency, your bank
may apply conversion rates and foreign transaction fees. These charges are outside
Travelecious's control.
-
Refund Variations: Approved refunds are processed in the original transaction currency.
Exchange rate differences between the purchase date and refund date may result in a
credited amount that differs slightly from the original charge. Travelecious is not
responsible for such differences.
30. Payment Methods and Transaction Processing
Travelecious accepts major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American
Express.
-
Split Transactions: Your total booking amount may be processed as separate charges —
for example, base fare, taxes, and service fees — but the combined total will not exceed
the amount shown at checkout.
-
Booking Confirmation: Hotel and car rental bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of
a final confirmation email.
-
Fare Changes: If a fare changes before payment is fully processed, we will notify you
and provide the option to accept the revised terms or cancel at no cost.
-
Fraud Prevention: Travelecious may perform verification checks or temporarily hold
transactions that appear high-risk in order to protect our customers.
31. Promotions, Discounts, and Promo Codes
Promotional codes are offered at our discretion and are generally applicable toward
Travelecious service fees.
-
Usage Rules: Codes must be entered at checkout, are non-transferable, carry no cash
value, and cannot be combined with other offers.
-
Limitations: Discounts are capped at the value of the applicable service fee or the code's
face value, whichever is lower.
-
Corrections: Travelecious reserves the right to cancel bookings where a promo code was
applied in error. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to completed bookings.
32. Airline Booking Terms and Conditions
All airline tickets are subject to the Conditions of Carriage of the issuing airline. Your contractual
relationship for air transport is with the airline, not Travelecious.
-
Price Errors: Where a fare is listed at an incorrect price due to a system or airline error,
we reserve the right to cancel the booking before payment is finalised. If a charge has
already been processed, a full refund will be issued.
-
Frequent Flyer Programmes: We cannot guarantee that loyalty points, upgrades, or
frequent flyer miles will apply to bookings made through our platform. Please confirm
eligibility directly with the airline.
-
Code Share Flights: Some flights are operated by a partner airline under a code share
arrangement. You are responsible for confirming the operating carrier prior to check-in.
33. Hazardous Materials and Aviation Safety Compliance
Government regulations prohibit the carriage of hazardous materials on aircraft in baggage or
on your person.
-
Prohibited Items: This includes explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and
solids, oxidising agents, toxic substances, corrosives, and radioactive materials.
-
Regulatory Enforcement: These rules are strictly enforced by aviation authorities
worldwide. In Canada, infractions are governed by Transport Canada under the
Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act. In the United States, these rules are enforced
by the TSA and FAA. Violations may result in severe civil penalties (up to $50,000 or
more per incident) and/or criminal prosecution.
-
Exceptions: Limited allowances exist for small quantities of medicinal or toiletry items.
Please refer to the Transport Canada or TSA website for a full list of permitted and
prohibited items.
-
Liability: Travelecious is not responsible for any penalties, delays, or confiscations
resulting from non-compliance with these regulations.
34. Prohibited Ticketing Practices
Airlines prohibit certain fare practices designed to circumvent their pricing structures. By using
this Website, you agree not to engage in:
-
Hidden-City Ticketing: Booking a journey to an intermediate stop rather than the
ticketed final destination.
-
Point-Beyond Ticketing: Including a destination you do not intend to reach in order to
access a lower fare.
-
Back-to-Back Ticketing: Overlapping round-trip bookings used to avoid minimum stay
requirements.
-
Out-of-Sequence Travel: Flight coupons must be used in the order shown on the
itinerary. Missing any segment typically results in the cancellation of all subsequent
segments.
Indemnification: Travelecious does not guarantee that airlines will honour tickets involving
these practices. You agree to indemnify Travelecious for any penalties, fare differences, or
claims arising from such conduct.
35. Taxes, Fees, and Itinerary Changes
-
Government Taxes and Fees: All fares include applicable taxes and airline fees at the
time of purchase. Any tax increases imposed after booking are the traveller's
responsibility.
-
Entry and Exit Fees: Certain destinations charge entry or exit fees not included in the
ticket price, which must be settled locally.
-
Itinerary Changes: Changes are subject to airline availability and fare conditions. You
will be responsible for any fare difference, airline change fees, and applicable
Travelecious processing fees.
36. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking, all airline tickets and Travelecious
service fees are non-refundable.
-
24-Hour Cancellation: Requests submitted within 24 hours of booking may be eligible
for cancellation, subject to a Travelecious processing fee.
-
After 24 Hours: Cancellations after 24 hours are governed by the airline's fare rules,
which frequently result in non-refundable status or a future travel credit only.
-
No-Shows: If you are unable to travel, you must notify us or the airline at least four (4)
hours before departure. Failure to do so will result in a no-show, and the full value of
the ticket will be forfeited.
-
Low-Cost Carriers: Tickets booked with low-cost carriers are 100% non-refundable.
37. Schedule of Post-Ticketing Fees
All Travelecious service fees are charged on a per-passenger, per-ticket basis and are non-
refundable. These fees are in addition to any penalties imposed by the airline or travel supplier.

38. Final Provisions
-
No Agency: Travelecious acts solely as an intermediary and does not control airline
scheduling, seating assignments, or operational decisions.
-
Documentation: Ensuring that your passport and visas remain valid for the full duration
of your trip is your responsibility alone.
-
Contact: For all cancellation and change requests, please reach our 24/7 support team
at: Phone: +1 (844) 204-9302 | Email: info@travelecious.com
39. Detailed Refund Procedures
All cancellation and refund requests must be initiated by telephone through our customer
support team.
Eligibility for Refunds: A refund may only be processed where:
- The airline's fare rules permit cancellation and refund.
- The ticket has not reached no-show status.
- Travelecious is able to obtain the necessary waivers from the travel supplier.
Processing and Timelines:
-
Acknowledgment: You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking reference
upon submitting a cancellation request. This is only a receipt for your request and does
not confirm that a refund will be approved.
-
Waivers: We will submit waiver requests to suppliers where eligible. The supplier's
decision is final.
-
Timeline: Where approved, refunds typically take 60 to 90 days to appear on your
statement.
-
Fee Structure: Travelecious booking fees are non-refundable. A post-ticketing service
fee applies to authorised refunds as outlined in the fee schedule. If a supplier declines
the refund, our post-ticketing fee will be returned, but the original booking fee remains
non-refundable.
40. Special Requests, Baggage, and Check-In
-
Automated Web Check-In: By opting into automatic check-in services, you authorise
Travelecious to act on your behalf and acknowledge the airline's terms and conditions
on your behalf.
-
Special Requests: Seating preferences, meal requests, and frequent flyer credit are not
guaranteed and remain subject to airline discretion. We recommend contacting the
airline directly 24 to 48 hours before departure to confirm any arrangements.
-
Baggage Policies: Most airlines charge separately for checked and carry-on baggage.
These fees are payable directly to the airline and are non-refundable. Please verify
baggage limits with your carrier before travel.
41. Combo Fares and Itinerary Types
-
Combo Fares: A Combo Fare itinerary consists of two or more independent one-way
tickets, each governed by its own cancellation policy, terms, and fees.
-
Separate Management: A delay or cancellation affecting one ticket in a Combo Fare
does not automatically entitle you to changes or refunds on the remaining ticket(s).
Each segment must be managed independently.
42. Hotel Booking Terms
-
Check-In Requirements: A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card
— or a cash deposit — are required at check-in for incidentals. This deposit is held solely
by the hotel and is separate from your Travelecious payment.
-
Occupancy and Age: Standard hotel bookings guarantee bedding for two adults.
Additional guests or rollaway beds may incur extra charges. You must meet the
property's minimum check-in age.
-
Late Arrival and No-Shows: If you expect to arrive late, notify the hotel directly. Failure
to check in on the first night of your reservation may result in cancellation of the entire
stay without a refund.
-
Accessibility: For disability-related accommodation needs, contact the hotel directly
before completing your booking. Travelecious cannot guarantee the availability or
fulfilment of accessibility requests.
-
Hotel Price Errors: In the event of an obvious pricing error, Travelecious reserves the
right to cancel the booking even after confirmation. A full refund of any amount paid to
us will be issued in such cases.
43. Mandatory Hotel Fees
The total price shown on Travelecious covers the base room rate, applicable taxes, and
specifically included amenities.
-
Excluded Charges: Many hotels — particularly in major tourist destinations — impose
mandatory resort fees, facility fees, or utility surcharges that are collected directly by
the property at check-in.
-
Responsibility: These charges are not included in your Travelecious booking total and
are the sole responsibility of the traveller.
44. Rental Car Booking Terms
Car rental bookings are governed by the rental agreement of the specific provider, which you
will sign at the time of vehicle collection.
-
Third-Party Contract: Travelecious is not a party to the rental agreement. Disputes
regarding vehicle condition, insurance, or local service must be resolved directly with
the provider.
-
Age Requirements: The minimum booking age for car rentals is 19. Drivers under 25
may be subject to a young driver surcharge, and additional drivers typically incur extra
fees.
-
Requirements: A valid driver's licence and a major credit card in the driver's name are
required at collection. Debit cards may not be accepted or may require a substantial
deposit. Specific vehicle models are not guaranteed; bookings are made by vehicle
category only.
45. Airport Parking Terms and Requirements
When you book parking through Travelecious, you enter into a direct contract with the parking
operator. Travelecious acts as an agent only.
Booking and Identification:
-
The vehicle's make, model, and registration number must be provided at the time of
booking.
-
Your confirmation voucher and the credit card used for the booking must be presented
on arrival.
-
The parking provider's liability is limited to proven negligence. No damage claims will be
considered once the vehicle has left the facility.
Operational Requirements:
-
Review the arrival and shuttle procedures included in your confirmation. Travelecious is
not liable for missed flights caused by late arrival or failure to follow parking
instructions.
-
Remove all valuables from the vehicle before check-in. Neither Travelecious nor the
parking provider accepts responsibility for personal items left in the vehicle.
Pricing and Payment:
-
Your statement may show two separate charges — one from the parking provider and
one from Travelecious — which together equal the total price shown at checkout.
-
All charges must be settled in full before the vehicle may be collected. Personal cheques
are not accepted.
46. Parking Cancellation Policy
-
Process: All parking cancellations must be processed through Travelecious customer
support to be valid.
-
Fees: All bookings include a non-refundable booking fee and a Management and
Maintenance Service (MMS) fee, both of which are forfeited upon cancellation.
-
Refund Eligibility: Refunds of the base parking charge vary by provider. No refunds are
issued for no-shows or for unused or shortened stays.
-
Force Majeure: Travelecious is not liable for cancellations caused by strikes, capacity
limitations, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
47. Cruise Booking Terms and Pricing
All cruise fares displayed on Travelecious are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) per person based on
double occupancy, unless otherwise stated.
-
Pricing Components: Displayed fares may exclude government taxes, port fees, fuel
surcharges, and gratuities unless explicitly noted. A non-refundable Travelecious service
fee applies to all cruise bookings.
-
Name Verification: Passenger names must match passport details exactly. Cruise lines
impose strict name-change policies, and any amendments made after booking will incur
significant penalties from both the cruise line and Travelecious.
-
Special Requirements: For medical accommodations, oxygen needs, or infant travel,
please contact our Cruise team directly. While we will communicate your requirements
to the cruise line, fulfilment remains at the carrier's sole discretion.
48. Cruise Cancellations and Refunds
Cruise cancellation policies are considerably more restrictive than those applied to flights or
hotels.
-
Refund Eligibility: Where refundable rates apply, refunds are limited to the cruise
deposit (excluding processing fees) and are subject to the timeline below.
-
Non-Refundable Bookings: Group block bookings, flash sale fares, and chartered sailings
are generally 100% non-refundable from the moment of confirmation.
-
Procedure: All cruise modifications or cancellations must be requested directly through
Travelecious. Passenger counts and cabin configurations cannot be amended once a
booking is finalised.
